Wijit: Fast Facts The WIJIT Company (TWC) manufactures, markets and distributes a unique, patented, and retrofittable mechanical Driving and Braking System (DBS®) for manual wheelchairs. Each fully integrated WIJIT DBS provides the user with a better, faster and safer way to get where they’re going. The Wijit DBS is the world’s first and finest alternative propulsion system for the standard manual wheeIchair. Chances are if you have a standard manual wheelchair, the Wijit will work for you! Prevents Upper Extremity Overload, which causes injuries endemic to those within the wheelchair dependent population. Increases speed, range, and general independence for wheelchair users and enhances mobility, safety and control. Prescribed by private physicians, government doctors (VA) and backed by an extensive third-party independently commissioned and published clinical research. Approved and reimbursed by most medical insurance plans available in the United States. Users end up being stronger, faster, safer, and healthier because hands are not exposed to the filth found on most wheelchair wheels. WIJIT: FAST FACTS 958% ROI 958% ROI But what if we told you

The Problem THE PROBLEM Wheelchairs are a huge part of many peoples’ lives.
They provide those with mobility issues an alternative way to navigate the world however, wheelchair design has changed very little in the past 150 years.
Since the average active wheelchair user pushes their hand rims two to five thousand times a day, this represents a huge source of additional body trauma. Although designed to enable disabled persons with mobility deficits, modern wheelchairs are often the source of upper extremity injuries. Within the first 5 years of wheelchair use upper extremity injuries are the norm. Hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders are soon repeatedly damaged and virtually render the majority of operators incapable of propelling their wheelchair without pain or further incapacitation. Clinical studies have proven that propelling a standard manual wheelchair with the traditional “push rim” damages the operators’ upper body. Every push telegraphs an inertial moment of shock up the anatomy of the arm and into the shoulder.

Wheelchair Users
THE MARKET · In the United States there are over 3.5 million part or full-time users of wheelchairs. · In the United States alone, over 80% of all wheelchairs are standard manual
· wheelchairs (SMW).
· A growing elderly population, increased spinal cord injuries, and continuing
· wheelchair needs from other mobility patient groups will steadily drive growth.
· The Wijit® Driving and Braking System® (DBS) is compatible with approximately
· 80% of reasonable quality wheelchairs.
· Our initial financial projections are based upon only the North American and
· United States market. We have the Asian and European markets opening up; these
· have the potential to totally eclipse our conservative financial projections with
· offshore sales.
Six United States Patents Issued, with one Patent Pending. 18 International Patents issued, seven United States Trademarks issued, with four registered United States Trademarks.
Our Solution OUR SOLUTION Force amplification through leverage, a gearing system with a 1 to 2 ratio, a dynamic braking system and a customized shifting mechanism located at the top of the lever, affords the Wijit operators unprecedented control, maneuverability and safety, without ever physically engaging filthy traditional push rims. While exercise is extremely important for the permanently-wheelchair-dependent person, it is even more essential for stroke patient recovery. The Wijit lever actuated DBS was the first and is the most effective mechanical alternative propulsion system in the world, which can be retrofit to standard manual wheelchairs. One-Armed Drives Annually over 1 million American citizens suffer strokes. Over 80% of those victims are left with some degree of Hemiplegia (paralysis of one side of the body). Our HemiDrive-M will allow wheelchair dependent stroke patients unprecedented control over their own mobility with the use of our groundbreaking single lever actuated HemiDrive-M WIJIT. Additionally, the HemiDrive-M will will provide critical rehabilitative neuro-muscular integrative exercise critical to patient recovery and long-term health. Wijit Is a Smart Choice Remember...

Production, Partnerships and Public Recognition PRODUCTION PARTNERSHIPS PUBLIC RECOGNITION Production tooling, built and paid for and scalable to large production runs. Substantial parts inventory purchased and in-house, with orders in process. In negotiations for exclusive Asian partnership. Areas of agency include China, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore. Anticipated partnerships in North America and Europe. Considerable media and scientific community recognition, awards and accolades for product ingenuity and excellence. By employing exclusive licensing agreements for large continental areas, TWC intends to evolve quickly into primarily an Original Equipment Manufacturer and distribution entity. By delegating the expensive developmental costs of marketing, sales and customer service onto selected Licensees, TWC will aggressively grow product demand and brand awareness without the traditional onus of those overhead costs. Market Opportunity MARKET OPPORTUNITY Demand for wheelchairs remains strong, with North Americans buying more than 1.5 million new wheelchairs annually.
1.5 MILLION WHEELCHAIRS 12% ANNUAL GROWTH In North America, the post-WWII baby boomer population demographics are increasing wheelchair sales as much 12% annually.
WIJIT can capitalize on the huge existing population of wheelchairs already in service because it is the best aftermarket retrofittable propulsion system available. This secondary (retrofit) market is more than three times the size of the “new market.” Mergers and acquisitions in the assistive mobility devices sector are occurring with more frequency. Large healthcare conglomerates are competing to acquire and control the best mobility technologies. Their acquisitions are tempered towards unique patent protected products like those TWC controls. TWC intends to take advantage of and capitalize upon large healthcare firms product acquisition modes.
Competition NuDrive Lever-Activated Manual Wheelchair Already on the market. 1:1 Gear Ratio requires more than 2X as many lever strokes as the WIJIT.
No true reverse gear. To reverse NuDrive one must drag backwards in the brake mode.
Power-Assisted Wheels Assists wheelchair-dependent patients to propel their wheelchair. Very heavy.
Battery-powered requiring frequent/daily charging.
Very difficult to use indoors.
Necessary routine maintenance results in extended periods
of unavailability.
Power Wheelchairs For severely disabled persons (those unable to effectively operate a manual wheelchair). High cost.
Device complexity.
Down time during recharging and maintenance.
Negative Health Effects.
Safety concerns to user and others.
COMPETITION Strengths Weaknesses
Our Unique Advantages OUR UNIQUE ADVANTAGES CLINICAL STUDY Proven under an independent $5 million, five-year National Institute of Health (NIH) clinical study; where scientists showed that the WIJIT DBS prevents Upper Extremity Overload, which causes injuries endemic to those in the wheelchair dependent population. The Wijit is the premier retrofittable alternative propulsion system and eliminates the need to purchase a new wheelchair to acquire a WIJIT. DYNAMIC BRAKING SYSTEM Our dynamic Driving and Braking System enhances the steering, maneuverability and safe control of the standard manual wheelchair. The WIJIT enables users to be, faster, safer, cleaner, healthier and more socially participatory. 50% MORE TORQUE WIJIT users can propel, maneuver, stop or reverse their wheelchair without having to touch the push-rims or wheels. The WIJIT also amplifies the operator’s force input providing >50% more torque to the wheels. Initiate Registration TO RECEIVE AN
